- Smart preservation — Highlighted text, system prompts, and tool messages never get trimmed
- One-click controls — "Show All" to temporarily view everything, "Re-enable Trimming" to optimize again
- Visual feedback — Floating toolbar shows "Trimmed: Showing 50/247 messages"
- Real-time updates — Works with streaming messages as they come in
Navigate to Settings → Performance & Speed to toggle auto-trim, adjust your message limit with the slider, and choose whether to preserve system messages.

Select any text in your AI conversations and create persistent highlights that survive page reloads, conversation switches, and even browser restarts.

Create custom tags with personalized colors to categorize your chats and prompts across your entire workspace.
Tag Features

Tag Manager
The new Tag Manager features a clean two-column layout: tag list on the left, edit panel on the right. You get a live preview as you edit, a color picker with hex input, and one-click deletion with confirmation.

Category Badge Modes
We added a toggle for how category badges display on chat cards:
- Always Visible (default) — Badge fully visible at bottom of card, scales on hover
- Peek Mode — Badge shows just a hint, reveals smoothly on card hover
Perfect for switching between large monitors (always visible) and smaller screens (peek mode saves space).
Additional Improvements
- Long category names truncate with "..." (max 90px)
- One-click navigation to category from badge
- Consistent styling across light and dark themes
